A restless summer in Southern California led me  to my first class in jewelry design & fabrication. Inspired at having been able to make a perfect bezel on Day 1, I knew that metalsmithing would be, from then on, a source of my life's pleasures. From that singular curiosity at how sheet and wire are transformed into wearable  pieces of art and many classes later, it has become my passion.

My work reflects much of the place where it all began. Warm. Eclectic. Whimsical. Elegant. Silver is my metal of choice and to it I apply the various traditional techniques of a 7000 year-old craft. Semi-precious stones, dichroic glass, precious metal clay, handmade beads or unusual found objects add another dimension to every unique piece.
